The DD5 P brings large-frame performance to a compact AR pistol platform built for ultimate versatility. Centered around a 12.5" Cold Hammer Forged barrel and a mid-length gas system it delivers smooth cycling and long-term durability in a hard-hitting maneuverable package.
A user-adjustable gas block allows the system to be tuned for consistent performance when shooting suppressed or unsuppressed. Paired with the Daniel Defense Linear Compensator the DD5 P manages muzzle blast while maintaining dependable operation across configurations.
At the core of the platform is Daniel Defense’s innovative 4-Bolt Connection System which increases the surface area between the barrel and upper receiver. This added rigidity enhances stability and supports accuracy traditionally associated with high-end bolt-action rifles. A refined bolt carrier group reduces overall recoil impulse and is engineered for reliability in demanding conditions.
